3. Äiji, the Fisher Elf

Äiji, the Fisher elf respects nature and loves to be near water. He is always carrying a big fishing net and on his feet wellie boots, in one of the which he surely spent his cradle years. Äiji is mute half of the time but loud the other half, and the tales he tells are usually very colorful and strange even for elves. Äiji is the only one hose calmness can make even the most energetic elves simmer down. His favourite food is smoked perch and his favourite tree the birch. Thanks to this the kitchen of Elves Village is always stacked full of fish, birch sap and Chaga mushroom.

I’m a 20-year-old Lapland University of Applied Sciences art student from Tornio. In the art scene I am interested in many things ranging from traditional art to digital art, photography and 3D. In my work, I depict nature, animals and fictional worlds. Lapland in particular,  where I have lived all my life, is a very important place for me, which I reflect in my art.
